- Many types of cancer, such as respiratory cancers, prostate cancer and myeloma
- Hodgkin's disease
- Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Diabetes Mellitus
- Peripheral neuropathy (a nervous system condition)
- Ischemic heart disease (ischemic cardiomyopathy)
- Parkinson's disease
